Hi, I'm Maria Saga
My Story
Maria’s vocal coaching practice is dedicated to helping people develop their voice with confidence, curiosity, and authenticity. Through a holistic approach, she supports singers In exploring the deep connection between voice, mind, and body to unlock new sounds, emotional range, and expressive freedom.
Maria believes that everyone can sing. She aligns deeply with the vision of Joan Melton and Kenneth Tom:
“We only have one voice. Whether we are speaking, singing, crying, laughing, shouting or screaming, it all comes from the same vocal mechanism.”
Her mission is to help each student discover and develop their voice in a way that feels true to who they are. Maria works with singers, performers, and professionals across corporate industries who want to build confidence, clarity, and presence through their voice.
Why learn with Maria?
A lifelong learner herself, Maria approaches each student as a unique individual. She learns alongside her students, offering tailored solutions, clear explanations, and a safe space to explore unfamiliar vocal territory.
Her work draws from ESTILL, MDH Breathing Coordination, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and functional, evidence-based voice pedagogy. These tools are integrated with somatic awareness, performance psychology, and artist-centred exploration, supporting both technical development and expressive depth. She is currently completing a Master’s degree in Voice Studies at ICMP.
A bridge between voice, education, and the real world
Maria brings together her background in business, education, and music to create vocal coaching that is structured, engaging, and deeply practical. Before becoming a professional singer, songwriter, and vocal coach, she worked as a Technical Learning Specialist at Amazon Web Services for nearly five years.
In this role, she designed, built, and scaled educational programs and workshops for employees from some of the world’s largest organisations, focusing on innovation, learning design, and human performance. This experience strongly shapes her teaching style today: clear, thoughtful, and adaptable to different learning needs.
